Today, the President brought together Amerada's very first pice of currency to the Ministry of Finance office. In a small ceremony the five Buck Bill was signed by Finance Minister Xavier Redhead, to be created as legal tender. A big step in Amerada's Finance, which is expanding every day. More money will be created in the next month, and notes will be issued to the public on February 12th.

TYMARIA THREATENS WAR!
Upon hearing that the President wanted to claim Interland, the country on Micro-Monde located douth of South Mondesia, sparked terror in Tymarians. A battle of misunderstanding broke loose. The situation with Tymaria, Interland, and Micro-Monde is a confusing one. It is known though, that Tymaria wants to pull Interland out of our planet. The President recieved word from Ras Digal V from Tymaria, about the situation. Amerada's President agreed to hand Interland over to Tymaria to join their planet, and now what was once Interland will be up for the taking. It is now an uninhabited wasteland, but the President has stated that Amerada will take it, and rename it Inter-Terre. So far, the situation is unknown. As for the conflict, the President asks for peace and requests Tymaria to do the same.
WAR MEASURES ACT CREATED
Today, Prime Minister Derek McCullough has done his largest amount of work since becoming Prime Minsiter. He has created the Amerada War Act, which shall be voted on in February as the Legislature resumes after the by-election

NEW BUCK BILL CREATED BY FINANCE MINISTER
Finance Minister, Xavier Redhead has gotten quick to work as the new Finance MInister of Amerada today, as he unvealed what the new 5 buck bill for the Republic will look like. With a few revisions by the Executive Branch of Amerada, the first ever bill was printed out late last night. It features a picture of the Vice-President, Jonathan Weatherhead, as well as the Flying Pig Bunny, Amerada's national symbol. On the back, there is a legal note, and when signed by Redhead tommorow, will be made legal tender.
NEW VILLAGE CREATED IN AMERADA
The Amerada Immigration Department has been busy this month, as they anounced plans to create yet another village. This time, the farming industry of Pennschewan sparked new growth in the northern section of the colony. Clevesor is the name of the village, and is 600km west of Washiawa. It is named after the Clevesor River which flows into the Missisenzie. Pennschewan Governiere, William Choc has been on a long vacation, and it is unknown when he will be back, but it looks like Pennschewan's future is a promising one!

JANUARY 13th
MICRO-MONDE UPDATE
Today much news has been created concerning Micro-Monde. Firstly, three islands have been anounced that will be coming into existance soon. Koijongto will get a new larger island, to be located near the existing smaller main one. Gwyndor, will be the latest addition to the South Mondesian Empire, and will be located somewhere along the prime Meridean. The last island will be an internationaly owned one, located at the intersection of the equator, and the Prime Meridian. Some other news, has to do with one of the current islands of the MM Union. The People of Interland are speculated to not want to be on Micro-Monde any longer. This has sparked an on going discussion on what to do with the island once the people are gone. Amerada's President wants to rename the island, and claim it for Amerada after the people have left for Tymaria.

TRUDEL VICTORIOUS! DLPA STILL UNDEFEATED!!!
At 12:30, ballot collectors announced the results of the Amerada legislature by-election of Tebec. Only 150 people or 26% of the voting population went out to vote, despite the tight race. Dan Trudel, of the DLPA proved victorious has he received 49% of the votes, with 74. Just 3 votes back, at 47%, Nicholas Bridgewater of the MSA suffered defeat. RCAA candidate and Governiere of Tebec, Scott Noseworthy received only 4 votes (3%) mainly because he told voters to vote for Nick, and he didn't want to be in Federal Politics. Only 1 vote (1%) went to A-PRP candidate Marshall Vladamir Korkovski. When Dan heard the news, he was over joyed, and quickly decided to be Energy Minister, taking over for the resignated William Steeves. This just happens to be the first DLPA victory in an election, since Earl Washburn defeated Kiril Litvinov to become the first Prime Minister of Amerada. This also insures that, not 1 seat has yet to go to any opposition party, which indeed makes the opposition angry, but it is clearly what Ameradians want. The DLPA will have to battle it out once again in another by-election, in the riding of Mid Northeast. They will have their work cut out for them, but if they can get the votes in Seatifax, the DLPA should be able to win, and retain all 10 seats of the legislature.
TEBEC LEGISLATIVE ELECTION PROPOSED
Today, Tebec Governiere, Scott Noseworthy anounced that there will be Tebec Legislative elections coming up. The polls will open February 9th, and will continue past Amerada Independance day until February 16th. Candidates must be in by February 1st.
NO MORE LATJ ONLINE NEWSPAPERS
The second newspaper in Amerada to go online, the Los Antreal Times-Journal, anounced today they would no longer be publishing online articles. They have not published an online newspaper in months, so it is probably fiting that they don't publish anymore.

JANUARY 11th
LOCAL ELECTIONS PLANNED FOR N.C.
San Franton, and the new village of Phooria in New Columbia will be having elections some time in the next month. The elections will elect a mayor of both villages, as well as 3 concilors in San Franton. Candidates can not represent a party.
13 HOURS LEFT IN ELECTION
With 13 hours left in the Amerada Legislative By-election of Tebec, DLPA candidate, Dan Trudel has a 2 vote lead over MSA candidate Nicholas Bridgewater. This one is coming down to the wire! Dan had 71, while Nick had 69.

JANUARY 10th
NATIONAL PARKS CREATED IN GEORD AND ISLAND
The newly created colony of Geord and Island, has know 2 National Parks. These parks will help protect the land from any evil communist ideas, their government may have instore! Seriously though, here is a look at them...
Rookefax National Park, in western Geord and Island covers a large amount of land north of Rooke Lake. This is a beautiful wilderness area, and includes many kilometres of beaches along the Seatifax River.
Geord's Isle National Park. This Park covers the entire land mass of Geord's Isle, the Island in Geord ISLAND. This Island has lots of wildlife, and lots of species of Fauna. The Island truly deserves mention in the name of the colony.
AMERADA TRANSPORTATION REPORT
The Amerada railroad has hit the 20km mark, in New Columbia, and here at home in MCD. In San Franton you can now take the train from the San Franton Station to the port of San Franton, and the airport. Here in Washiawa, the railroad has already hit village limits in the south, and it continues extending in each direction from Union Station.
New Highways, have also been completed. Residents in Seatifax, Geord and Island can now drive to all places in Amerada, as new stretches of highway has been completed in the following places. G&I route 1 from Seatifax to Detipeg; G&I route 2 to the trans Illitoba highway (between Philadgary and Chicouver); and G&I route 3, from Seatifax to Bosbec. The Trans Tebec Highway has also been completed, as well as the trans New Columbnian Highway. They have been built to serve the new village of Phooria. The Trans-Tebec highway goes from Los Antreal to Phooria, while the Trans-New Columbian Highway comes from San Franton.
TRUDEL LEADS BY 3
With 37 hours until polls close, in the Amerada legislative elections of Tebec, DLPA candidate Dan Trudel leads MSA candidate, Nicholas Bridgewater by 3 votes. Dan has 62 votes to Nick's 59.

JANUARY 9th
STEEVES OFFICIALY RESIGNS
Today, at lunch time, Deputy Prime Minister, William Steeves officaly declared that he had resigned as Energy Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and all other positions he held in Amerada, as well as quiting the DLPA. His main reason for quiting, is because he thinks the DLPA is too corruptive, as it appoints to many people to jobs. Steeves did not say what he plans on doing other than, helping out with elections, and things like that. Speeking of which, a by-election must be called for his riding. The by-election is slated to begin January 19th, but the exact time, is still in the air. Key candidates for the DLPA include Jonathan Weatherhead, and if Dan Trudel loses Tebec, he will be the runner. Same goes for MSA candidate, Nicholas Bridgewater. Will started his Amerada political career with the DLPA, supporting Earl Washburn for the Prime Minister race against Kiril Litvinov. Steeves then joined the DPA, and after they lost the election to Washburn, he became leader of the opposition. After that, he rejoined the DLPA and ran for prime Minister against Genevieve Wong. He won that election, only to be impeached 2 months later. His Deputy Prime Minister, Derek McCullough filled in, and named Will as Deputy. William Steeves, was a very key person in Ameradian history, and politics, and will be truly missed, whether you hated him or loved him.
SENATE ACT CREATED
Today, the President anounced that he would be puting up a Senate Act, that was originaly created by New Columbian Governiere, Peter Little. The President revised it, and until it becomes a bill, it will be put under the microscope. One important thing in it, is that all parties will get 1 person to go to the senate, and they cannot be legislature members. Another thing, 1 member, that can only vote if there is a tie, is to be the Prime Minister.
ELECTION WATCH
In the Amerada legislative By-election of Tebec, The MSA finally took the lead at around 11:45 tonight. They 51 votes led by candidate Nicholas Bridgewater. DLPA candidate, Danile Trudel is in second with 50 votes. The RCAA still has 3, while the A-PRP has just 1.

JANUARY 8th
The WPC would like to wish everyone a happy Norton Day!

STEEVES TO RESIGN?
Today, Deputy Prime Minister, William Steeves announced that he may be resigning from Ameradian politics in Amerada. This came as a surprise to the President who first heard it. "I hope he's bluffing, it'd be a shame to lose such a key figure in Ameradian politics" noted the President. William's bio is quite an interesting one, as he has done many things, including getting elected as Amerada's Prime Minister in October. It will be a shame if he leaves, and we here at the WPC will miss him if he goes through with the resignation.

NEW VILLAGE CREATED IN NEW COLUMBIA
The expanding New Columbian economy has sparked the Ameradian Immigration department to set up plans to begin constructing a second village in New Columbia. It has been quite some time since the last village was constructed in western Amerada. The new village will be named Phooria, after the river which flows into the Koijongtoan sea, at where the new village will be built. It is expected, New Columbian Governiere Peter Little will be quite pleased with the new village, as he likes to see growth in his colony. Like San Franton, Phooria's main industry will be that of shipping, but the high tech sector is also expected to flow out of San Franton into Phooria aswell.
TRUDEL STILL WITH THE LEAD
As of midnight last night, DLPA candidate Dan Trudel has the lead in the Amerada Legislature By-election of Tebec. He has 38 votes to MSA candidate Nicholas Bridgewater's 35. Scott Noseworthy of the RCAA finally picked up another vote, and is at 3. A-PRP candidate, Marshall Korkovski has yet to see another vote, as he remains at 1.

JANUARY 7th
BACK FROM THE HOLIDAYS
Today, Amerada's leaders re-conviened at the White Buildings in Washiawa. The main topic of discussion was the Tebec by-election, and the Norton awards. Unfortuantely recent events, and the lack of much activity in Ameradian news has created a little depression in the leaders, or maybe it is just winter. Let's hope something exciting happens to strengthen us as a country.
BY-ELECTION UPDATE:
As of about 11pm tonight, in the Amerada legislature by-election of Tebec, DLPA candidate Dan Trudel had 24 votes, whil MSA candidate Nicholas Bridgewater had 22. Tebec Governiere Scott Noseworthy still has 2 votes, and Marshall Korkovski still has 1.
NEW WPC POLL
The Washiawa Post-Citizen has anounced that they will be hosting two opinion polls on the Amerada website untill February 28th. You may make your vote for Amerada man of the year, and Amerada woman of the year. This marks our first opinion poll since September. In related news, as the leaders of Amerada got back together, they discussed the creation of a new micronationalism award to rival that of the Norties.

JANUARY 6th
NORTON AWARDS RIGGED, SAYS PRESIDENT!
AMERADA'S LEADER OF NORTON AWARDS COVERAGE
ESPERA, MOLOSSIA- (AR) The Norton Awards winners have been unveiled, says Amerada President, Earl Washburn. He recieved official word about them from Molossia President, Kevin Baugh. The President was angered at the results. Not because Amerada did not get a single vote for new micronation of the year, but who did win, Lykosha. "I believe Tymaria really deserved the awards." said the President, "Unfortunately, Lykosha just got their friends to vote for them, but they don't really deserve it, not yet anyways, because they haven't done much as for micronationalism." He ended by saying, "They're obviously rigged as the panel, are just a bunch of friends looking out to vote for each other, and it looks like I was the only sensible panel member." This aside, let's look at the winners, and the votes for them:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intermicronational Achievement: Molossia*, for the Intermicronational Expo, 3 votes. 2 abstained.
Political Achievement: A majority for a candidate has yet to be determined, so far Atlantium leads the votes 2, for their impressive international press coverage. Babkha, Sealand, and Tymaria all tied for second place, each with one vote a piece.
Cultural Achievement: Sir Graham John Francis de Sales Wheeler, for the Dumezil Institute. He picked up either 3 or 4 votes, as the official report stated Wheeler had 3 votes, while his institute 'Dumezil' picked up 1. This is obviously an error, so he probably received 4 votes. 1 abstained, and Ardashir Khan, Deputy Grand Vizier and Defence Vizier of Babkha received likely no votes, or maybe one.
New micronation of the year: The Realm of Lykosha, 3 votes. Tymaria received one vote, that of the President of Amerada.
Personal achievement: Lars Erik, Duke of Trekroner*, 4 votes. He turned for having turned the MNO board into the reference forum for micronationalists and designed the most up-to-date directory of micronations. Steven Scharff who is listed under the category 'intermicroantional achievement' received one vote.
* Second time in a row to win in that category

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After all that the President stated, that he'd like to create a different intermicronational awards, that would benefit more of micronationalism.

HEAD TO HEAD BATTLE

BRIDGEWATER, TRUDEL CLOSE RACE COMING!
LOS ANTREAL- (AR) In the Amerada legislature by-election of Tebec, it looks like it's going to be close. Nicholas Bridgewater, of the MSA has put together a strong effort, as at 11:00pm last night, he was just behind DLPA candidate Dan Trudel for the lead. Trudel had 20 votes, while Bridgewater had 19. Scott Noseworthy, the RCAA candidate and Governiere of Tebec has just 2 votes, while A-PRP candidate, Marshall Korkovski has but 1.

LITTLE BECOMES FIRST ELECTED GOVERIERE OF A COLONY!
SAN FRANTON- (AR) Yesterday, New Columbia Governiere, Peter Little won the New Columbian Governierial election, 65 votes to 18 votes over PSP candidate, Marshall Vladimir Korkovski. The voter turn out was horrible, if one was to look at past elections, but one could blame that on voter enthusiasm. Nonetheless, MSNC candidate, Peter Little, becomes Amerada's first ever elected governiere of a colony. Mr. Little did not have much to say as of press time, but accepts the congratulations of the President.
ARCHBISHOP SHOT!
WASHIAWA- (UMA) To the shock of Roman Catholics across the nation, the head of the Roman Catholic Church in Amerada, was shot by a bow, with an arrow to the shoulder. He is in stable condition. It was believed to be a renegade a supporter of the Anti-Religion faction. As religious leaders across Amerada, gave good wishes to the Archbishop. the Archbishop, William O'Malley was outside the Roman Catholic Cathedral talking to followers when the event happened. Some extreme Anti-DLPA supporters blamed the event on a DLPA extremist as the Archbishop along with the Archbishop of San Franton, Edward Kipley and the Anglican Archbishop of Washiawa, John Harrod and Archbishop of San Franton, Steven Clarke, had condemned the DLPA government for legalizing of Hemp and most importantly the Sex trade. The head of the Roman Catholic Church in Micro-Monde, Cardinal Michael Hancock, Archbishop of Bernington(South Mondesia) has asked the Ameradian Authorities to do every thing they can to stop this man.

WEATHERHEAD SENDS PHOTOS!
TRIAL POSTPONED INDEFINITELY!
WASHIAWA-(AR) Both the President, and the Vice-
President were very happy today. The President
finally received those pictures taken on Amerada
photo day, many months back. One problem occurred
though, many of the people in those pictures had
redeye! The President asked the Vice-President,
Jonathan Weatherhead to fix the problem, and the
impeachment trial would be cancelled. The Vice
President responded by saying "It will take some
time though." After words, the President told
the press that he would be giving Jon until
February 2002 to fix the redeye's in the photos.
If he doesn't fix them, then the trial will be back in place.
In the mean time, you may view the best cropings from the
photos on the Amerada site, under meet our leaders.

HICKMAN NAMED GOVERNIERE OF
NEW JUNDLAND

Jundland finally receives official word from the President,
that they have a leader. Defence Minister Mark Hickman, was

Hickman was a little confused about it, as it has been a while

24 hours before. Governiere Peter Little has a 64-17 vote lead

BERNINGTON- (AR) Sean Jones, a possible friend of Peter Little,
and likely citizen of South Mondesia, has told reporters of
the South Mondesian press that he'd like to be an active citizen
of Amerada. He asked the President to email him, but the
President asked him to post the request on the Amerada ezboard.

The main headquarters of the MMU will be named the Earl Washburn Building, named after our president, who is also the current Secretary General of the MMU. The legislative building will be known as the "PAL" named after Peter Little, governiere of New Columbia and Vice Secretary General.
LITTLE OUT TO A HUGE LEAD
SAN FRANTON-(AR) The New Columbia Governierial election is almost complete, and as of midnight last night, he had 61-16 lead over PSP candidate Marshall Korkovski. The election wraps at 2pm Eastern on Saturday.
KORKOVSKI NAMED GOVERNIERE OF GEORD AND ISLAND
SEATIFAX- (AR) The leader of Amerada's People's Revolutionary Party, Marshall Vladimir Korkovski has been named by the President as being the first Governiere of Geord and Island. This marks the highest position held in Amerada by the newly formed party. It was just on Wednesday when the new colony became official. One of the first things Korkovski plans to do is name the colony, a different name than just the Colony of Geord and Island.

SPECIAL CHRISTMAS NEWSPAPER (Jan. 2nd 2002)
GEORD AND ISLAND BECOMES AMERADA'S 11th COLONY!
Today, the President declared Geord Territory to be known as Geord and Island, and that it was to be Amerada's 11th colony. This was anounced January 2nd, 2001. The first colony of 2002! Geord and Island is located in mid-north Amerada between Oh Scotia, Illitoba, and Michswick. Geord and Island is mostly covered in thick Coniferous forests. The Ameradian parairie extends into the southeast of Geord and Island. The Southwest is mostly swamp, while a tiny section on the Illitoban border is desert. Geord and Island's capital is Seatifax, wich is located on an inland harbour of the Seatifax River, in which it was named after. The Seatifax River starts at Sacreer Lake, and flows through Michswick and Illitoba before entering Rooke Lake which is on the Illitoban border. At the mouth of the river is a fairly large island, called Geord's Island. This island is the reason why there is the word island in the name of the colony. Geord and Island economy will likely be most reliant on the sea, and on the port at Seatifax. The proposed governiere of Geord and Island is Marshall Vladamir Korkovski, of the A-PRP. He plans on making the colony have a very socialist labour ministry, and will be socialist in economy. He proposes to name the colony the Democratic Socialist Colony of Geord and Island. He will likely be sworn in as governiere on January 3rd.

AMERADIAN LEADERS MAKE CHRISTMAS SPEECH
A new tradistion has been created, as the President made a christmas speech, where he posted on many ezboards, and email groups on Christmas day. RCAA leader Peter Little followed up with his own speech. Here is the President's speech:
Hello Everyone,
I would like to start by wishing everyone a merry Christmas, and a happy new year. May your holiday be filled with joy.
It is difficult to think of joy, when so much evil has happened lately. With the September 11th terrorist attacks in the United States, to the continuous rioting in Amerada. As human beings, however we must learn to stop all this evil and become peaceful. The best time to do this, is during the holiday season. It doesn't matter if you don't celebrate Christmas. One may celebrate Hanukah, or Ramadan, or Ede, or Kwanza. You may celebrate nothing at all. The important thing, is now, is the best time to find peace in our hearts. We must stop calling names, and offending our enemies. We must put down our guns and swords, at least for now and strive for peace. Let's make this a joyous holiday. In the words of John Lennon, "Have a merry, merry Christmas! and a happy new Year. Let's hope it's a good one, without any tear's."
Followed by Mr. Little's speech:
Merry Christmas to all in Amerada. This year we have seen many things some good some bad! lets start with the bad! We saw a terrible loss of life on September 11th caused by terroists who call themselves muslims, much of the muslim world condemds these terroists as in the teachings of Islam it teaches peace not war. We also saw much terroism in Amerada caused by Kiril Litinov and his Democratic Party of Amerada. But the best is the good! In good we saw the end of the Taliban regiem in Afganistan and creation of a coalition government to bring peace to that troubeld land. We saw the creation of 2 opposition parties in Amerada 2 that do not support Terrorism. We have seen Amerada grow from a settelment on a river to a spread out nation and we seen allies made! If you are christian jewish or muslim, conservative or socialist it is time for love and peace! not for more war or any other terrorist attacks.

JONATHAN WEATHERHEAD TRIAL KEEPS GETING DELAYED
One would think the impeachment trial for the Vice President would have been over and done, since it was originaly schedualed for December 22nd. Wrong one would be. Because, it is christmas time not to many members of the Supreme court of Amerada have been available, so now it has been put on the back burner, and it will likely be reschedualed. Since then, the Vice President has done some work, as he finally sent the President, one of the three pictures, that were taken of the legislature member back in November. The picture was a horrible one, as the heads of the President and, William Steeves was cut off.
A-PRP, AMERADA'S FOUTH POLITICAL PARTY!
On December 26th, the People's Socialist Party was created. It was deemed an official political party, when leader Marshall Vladamir Korkovski presented the President with its URL and logo. Since then, the PSP has joined the micronational organization, the People's Revolutionary Party, and has changed its name to the Ameradian People's Revolutionary Party.

NC GOVERNIERIAL ELECTION BACK ON TRACK!
New Columbia Governiere, Peter Little anounced that the cancelled governierial election will be back on track. The elections commitee of New Columbia also anounced that the DLPNC and the RCANC had been suspended. This forced the Governiere to enter the election with as an MSNC candidate. His opposition is the PSP, led by Marshall Vladamir Korkovski. The polls opened December 29th, and since then, the polls have shown a very unenthusiastic vote turn out, unlike the first atempt at the election. As of January second, the MSNC led in votes 50-15.
CANDIDATES ANOUNCED FOR BY-ELECTION
All four parties anounce their candidates for the upcoming January 5th by-election for the riding of Tebec. The DLPA anounced Daniel Trudel. The RCAA anounced Scott Noseworthy as their candidate. The A-PRP anounced Marshall Vladamir Korkovski, while the MSA anounced Nicholas Bridgewater as their candidate. All four candidates have a very good chance of wining, so it looks like it will be a very interesting race.

Andrew has also been moved to the riding of New Columbia, while Sir Leao V has been moved to Andrew's old riding just before the Jan. 1st deadline. Just one cabinet postion remains. That is the ministry of Labour. That will be given after the upcoming by-election.
AMERADIANS KICK IN THE NEW YEAR!
New Years celebrations across the county rang in 2002 on Monday. A large crowd gathered outside the White Buildings in Washiawa, as there was a big party. All across the country there were many parties, hoping that 2002 will be just as good as 2001 for Amerada. January first also marks the begining of construction of the Amerada Railroad. Transportation minister/ Prime Minister Derek McCullough anounced that would officialy begin in a little ceremony, at the construction site of Washiawa's Union Station. 1 kilometre per day is the schedualed completion plan, as the railroads begin in Washiawa and in San Franton, and make their way across the country.
NORTON DAY COMING UP
January 8th is Norton day in the micronational world. The day also marks the day the votes are tallied for the Norton Awards, which are given to the best in micronationalism. The President has anounced he has already voted for who he wants to win, as he is lucky enough to be on the panel. He says, he will not reveal his selections to anybody.
We at the WPC, however have selected our predictions for winners, as follows:
Intermicronational achievement: It will likely go to Molossia, for hosting the 2001 expo.
Political achievement: A tough one, but we think,
THE EMPIRE OF ATLANTIUM, for its impressive international press coverage.
another possible winner is HER MAGNIFICENCE, PASCALE DUFOIX OF BABKHA, for becoming the first Female Grand Vizier of Babkha.
Cultural achievement
Both nominees have good chances, but we'll go out on a limb at predict: ARDASHIR KHAN, DEPUTY GRAND VIZIER AND DEFENCE VIZIER OF BABKHA, for his outstanding work in establishing the Dar Al Fanun Foundation
New micronation of the year: We always hope Amerada, but it will likely go to Tymaria, or Lykosha.
Personal achievement: Again, it will likely go to:
LARS ERIK, DUKE OF TREKRONER, for having turned the MNO board into the reference forum for micronationalists and designed the most up-to-date directory of micronations.

ELECTIONS COMING UP FOR MICRO-MONDE!

4 NATIONAL PARKS CREATED IN NEW COLONY
4 National Parks have officialy been created, according to Amerada's Interior ministry. All four of them will be in the new colony of New Jundland. The National Parks include:
Area 51 National Park: This park covers a large area, and surrounds the proposed land for the Area 51 military base. The park will help seclude the base. The Park also reaches all the way to the New Jundland/Floerta border in the west. The main feature of the park is horseshoe valley, which begins in the southeastern portion of the park.
Flying Pig Bunny National Park: This park covers a small area on Kiril's Island. The creation of the park was made to protect Amerada's national symbol, the Flying Pig Bunny, which only lives here. The park is located on a plateau, which over looks the ocean.
Horn "B" National Park: Horn "B" National Park covers a small portion of land in southeastern New Jundland, between the village of Mierines and the eastern coast. The main feature of the park, is Horn "B" which sticks out, creating a harbour for Mierines.
Oc River National Park: This park, covers a huge land area, in northeastern New Jundland. It covers the entire drainage are of the Oc River, which drains into the Eastern coast. The western poartion of the park, slopes towards the east, steeply, and then as it moves towards the coast, gently.

PUBLIC OUTRAGED BY RCAA, BEING ANTI-ANIMAL ACT
Animal rights activists peacefuly protested outside RCAA headquarters, after this article was published by the AWSM. (Warning to readers, the subject matter in this article may be hard for some people to take)
Governiere disgustard by Animal Rights Bill
"United Media of Amerada(part of the SMC)
Gov.Little is disgustard by the bill which is putting a stamp on cultures eating what they want "I feel this bill is appaling in the way it only allows people to eat what the Government whants" "It stops certain cultures from eating foods of cultural heritage such as Chinese or Koreans from eating the dog" He also thinks it is silly how animals are to be given the same rights as man, whats next dogs can vote!"
After reading this, the President was outraged, and condemned the RCAA leader for being so cruel to our animal friends. The Animal Murders act, so far is just a proposal, and hasn't even been writen yet, yet it still is creating controversy. It should be interesting to see how this unfolds over the weeks to come.
DECEMBER 19th
A NEW COLONY, NEW JUNDLAND!!
Today, the Amerada government made Jundland Territory, an official Colony of the Republic of Amerada. This marks Amerada's 10th colony. The new colony will be known as New Jundland. Amerada's Defence Minister, Mark Hickman has been the proposed governiere, as he has been administrating the land for the last couple of months. The only problem is, it may take a while before he is officialy named Governiere. The main reason for this naming, is beacuse, New Jundland is the 'Defence Colony' New Jundland, already is home to Kiril's Island, which is Amerada's largest military base. The capital of New Junland, will be of course Mierines, which is already a thriving community of military personal, and now will boast a civillian population as well. Further to the west, there are plans to create, another military base, in an area known as 'Area 51.' New Jundland covers all the remaining uncolonized regions in southeastern Amerada; south of Pennschewan, and east of Floerta. Most of New Jundland is covered in forests. The southern third of the colony, is mountainous. New Jundland boasts two large islands; Kiril's Island, and Litvinov Island. Already Jundland has a prosperous economy, and now that it is a colony, it is sure to become better.
DAN TRUDEL, JONATHAN WEATHERHEAD OFFICIALY FIRED
Derek McCullough has made his first big decision since becoming the prime minister. Finally geting rid of Finance Minister, Jonathan Weatherhead, and Justice Minister, Dan Trudel. Both had many weeks to complete their tasks set out by former prime minister, William Steeves, yet did not complete them. The will be missed, but it is likely they will be given smaller jobs in the future. As for Jon's Vice-Presidency, an impeachment trial is set out for him, on Friday at 7pm. As we already know, William Steeves is the likely candidate to be picked as Vice-President if Jon is impeached. These firings also mean another thing. A By-election WILL happen, and it will be the same dates as mentioned before: January 5th to 12th, 2002. The DLPA must spend from now untill the January 1st deadline finding a candidate to run for the Tebec seat. It is likely Tebec governiere, Scott Noseworthy will run against the DLPA, while MSA leader Nichoas Bridgewater will run for the MSA. If a party does not submit a candidate, they can still run, but they will run into some difficulties if they win the election. All submissions for candidates will be made on the Amerada ezboard.
FLOERTA GOVERNIERE ALMOSTS RESIGNS
Today, when asked to do a something, Floerta Governiere Glen Bohach refused, as he deemed himself 'lazy'. The governiere almost resigned, but when asked about it he reassured reporters, by saying he hadn't. When asked about this issue, the President stated, he could easily find a replacement.

McCULLOUGH SWORN IN AS PRIME MINISTER
Today, at noon EST, the prime minister, Derek McCullough, was sworn in as the prime minister. Untill today, he was the unofficial prime minister, but today it's all official. The President anounced a new tradition, as he sang "na na na na na na na na leader, leader, leader!!!" It got annoying however, and the President, was childfuly kicked, but it was all in good fun. Here at the WPC, we hope all the best to Derek in his new position.
PRESIDENT CREATES ANOTHER PROPOSAL FOR RESOLUTION IN NEW YEAR
After the recent 'animal bashing' of RCAA leader, Peter Little, the President began thinking of a new act. He discussed highlights of his proposed bill with MSA leader, Nicholas Bridgewater, and Kato embassador to Amerada, Ka Naji. Both suprisingly support the proposal, which has become known as the "Animal Murder Act" Deputy prime minister, William Steeves also had no objections today. The big feature of the proposal, is that no one may kill another animal. This will obviously come with some exceptions, such as accidental murders, self defence, and of course for the simple fact that we eat animals. On that line, a butchery license may be needed for one to kill an animal. And, not just any animal. The President clearly stated which animals may be killed for comsumption: Bullvines, Hogs, Chickens, Turkeys, and Fish. The proposal will be looked at further over the next few days, and will be voted on in 2002.

DECEMBER 17th
STEEVES MAY BECOME VICE-PRESIDENT, SAY PRESIDENT
The current deputy prime minister, William Steeves, has addressed the issue, of there being a new Vice President, as it has become common knowledge, that the current V-P, Jonathan Weatherhead is not doing a good job. The President, Earl Washburn, has clearly stated, that he supports the former prime minister for the job as V-P. William is delighted at the opportunity.
SOUTH MONDESIANS THREATEN WAR!
South Mondesian President/ New Columbia Governiere, Peter Little has criticized the Amerada election act, because he doesnt like its ways of polling the people. Mr. Little, obviouly mad at the shuting down of the New Columbia Governierial election, threatened the President to commit war, over this little thing. The President told him off, however, and urged for peace between our new friends.
RCAA BASHES ANIMALS
Today, the RCAA leader, Peter Little clearly stated that he accepts all cultures, including those of cannabalism, and dog eating. This has horrified pet owners, vegetarians, ecologists, and many people of common sense and morals, including Amerada's President. Once again, the RCAA laughed at the President's support for (excuse the pun) the underdog. When criticized, about not accepting other cultures, the President replied, "some cultures have gone too far, and that's not predjudism, because ours has too."
DECEMBER 16th

DEFENCE VILLAGE PLANNED
With more and more micronations joining our planet, the threat of attacks has inreased. This is pressuring the Amerada interior ministry, to open a village in Mierines, where there is a military base, so that more people will be able to join the Amerada military, as it is in Mierines, and just about everywhere in Jundland territory. It will be only a matter of days before Mierines becomes an official village.

NEW COLUMBIA ELECTION CANCELLED DEFINIATELY
The New Columbian Governierial race, has been cancelled definatley, announced New Columbia Governiere Peter Little. Mr. Little is very angry at Amerada's electoral process, and therefore does not want to bother restarting an election. It will likely happen prior to the last possible week to have an election. Too bad for Peter, he wanted to be Amerada's first democraticaly elected governiere.

DECEMBER 14th
NC ELECTION CANCELLED BY ELECTIONS AMERADA
The current New Columbian Governierial election, was cancelled today, because it broke a small law in the Amerada's election act. The minor glitch, if you will, was discovered be elections Amerada just today, as they had discussion with the President at the White Buildings. That minor glitch, had to do with the location of the poll on the internet. It clearly states in the Amerada elections act, that the main poll, MUST be POSTED on the HOME PAGE of the colony holding the election. This was not done, the poll was posted on a different page. Because of this law, Elections Amerada were sad to say, the election had to be cancelled. The RCAA, who had been leading, was furious at the decision, and claimed they hadn't heard of the law. But, unfortunately it didn't work. They will just have to call a new election.
DEREK, THE PRIME MINSITER
Today, it was anounced that Derek McCullough would be sworn into office on Monday. William, who had been impeached the day before, wasn't as mad as expected when he learned he was impeached, and was delighted to know, that he would be named deputy prime minister, under Derek's administration. "It's just a switch of positions, isn't it?" William had said. Derek, has a lot of work at hand, and the first thing he must do, is figure out the essay situation: (from the Chicouver Tribune-Sun)
Jon Wheatherhead has very little time left to finish his essay.
Derek McCullough has set a new date he must have his essay in. if his essay is not sent to Derek McCullough or Earl Washburn via Email or handed in by the Tuesday December the 18th They will take legal action in the matter.

DECEMBER 13th
STEEVES IMPEACHED!
Today, the trial, for the prime minister, William Steeves went. The President defended him, while New Columbian governiere, Peter Little was the prosecution. Oh Scotia Governiere, Nicholas Bridgewater was the judge, while Illitoba Governiere, Xavier Redhead, and Califario Governiere, Matthew McIvor were jurors. The prosecution said the the prime minister acted treasonous, while the President said that this trial was perposterous, and Will never broke any law. It then became evident, however, that Mr. Steeves did infact break the law, as evidence prooved he had offended Amerada. The President tried to prove Will was lying when he offended Amerada, but it didn't work. Both jurors, and the judge, made the impossible decision, to impeach the prime minister. Indeed it is a sad day for Amerada. Deputy prime minister, Derek McCullough, will automaticaly be given the position as prime minister, and will hold it untill the October DLPA government leadership election. William Steeves may have won the first impeachment hearing, but he couldn't win this one. He couldn't make it, even for 2 months in office. Derek McCullough, served as primeminister last summer, but didn't do any work, because of summer. This will definately prove how well he can be as prime minister. Derek will likely be sworn in as prime minister tommorow.
BY-ELECTION CANCELED
Today, The Vice-President told reporters, the he WILL be emailing the prime minister, his essay. This means the proposed by-election will be cancelled.

The DLPA first learned of this, as they got into the biggest lead of the polls they have had yet. But, as the hours passed, the RCAA learned aswell, and eventually passed Will, and at midnight led 430-357.
DECEMBER 12th

RCAOS WINS ELECTION, 6 DIE IN AFTERMATH
Today, tears cried, and people cheered, but when it was all said and done, tradgedy, as the results came in from the Oh Scotia legislative elections. The RCAOS won, by just 3 votes, 189 to 186 over the OSCP. Every single person on Oh Scotia reportedly voted, and when this happened, the Governiere opened the polls to the General public of Amerada. Firstly, the RCAA found this out, and went into the lead by 25 votes. Then the DLPA found this out, and ralied back to take the lead with minutes left before polls. The next few votes went mostly to the RCAOS, as they finished it off wining the election. The RCAOS inturn, won 2 seats, and the OSCP could only manage one. The remaining seat went to the MSAOS, who won 92 votes. The OSSA only managed 14. Quickly after the polls closed, the President acknowledged defeat, and congratulated the RCAOS. But, OSSA members clashed in the streets. Three citizens were serioiusly wounded and one lost a leg in a car explosion. One youth, strapped to an explosive device cried, 'Viva l'Empereur' before being blown into a million pieces, killing three Monarchists (William Josiah Roberts, Henry Staffington, and Mariah Sutton) and two DLPA supporters (Earl Bonaparte and Derek Bacon). There are suspects in the case, and it is expected they may get the death penalty. A national day of mourning has been set for Wednesday.
PRIME MINISTER, TAKES OUTRAGE ON MICRO-NATIONS.ORG
The country was shocked today, as the primeminister, angered, takes out his frustration of recent events on an undeserving website. The micronational world was indeed shocked at his comments, and opposition leaders quicky swooped down on this, and called for an impeachment trial. The President, stated that what Will did was wrong and he demands an apology from him. New Columbia Governiere, Peter Little, acting as prosecuter set a date for the impeachment trial on Wednesday.
PETER LITTLE BECOMES MEDIA GIANT

The capital of Pennschewan will be Atlener, named after the river, and is the only portion of Penschewan that extends south of the Atlener river. RCAA member, William Chocolate was quickly informed of the creation, and quickly flew in to Atlener to take office as governiere. Most of Pennschewan is fertile woodland, except for the southwest which is Prairie. Atlener sits on the east end of the prairie, and will become Amerada's southern prairie village. Atlener will join Amerada's Dallton-Pennschewan electoral district in Federal Politics. Pennschewan has also Rachel falls, as well as Pennschewan Falls, which are huge waterfalls, that would mock even Niagra itself. Today, the LATJ has published a public opinion poll. It asks the question "Who do you support in
the DLPA Federal leadership?" It gives the option of Earl Washburn, William Steeves, other, or
neither. Both the Presidnet, and the Primeminister have decided not to take part in the poll,
and encourages Ameradians to do aswell, because it is obvious the newspaper wants to put them
against eachother. It's also a proven fact, as Tebec governiere Scott Noseworthy did not deny
the fact he wanted to put them against eachother. So far the LATJ is very frustrated, because
most people have taken our leaders advice, and not taken the poll.

DEMEMBER 4th
PRESIDENT TO SIT ON NOTIES PANEL
Today the President was given a seat on the panel for the Norton awards, which will be given
out January 8th for the best in micronationalism. The President still wants Amerada to win an
award, but he knows it will be harder, as all the seats on the panel have been taken.
STEEVES ABSENT
Yesterday, and today the primeminister has been absent from the old legislature. Derek and Earl
decided to do their work in another area of the white buildings. Sources say, the prime minister
is sick, and we wish him well.
DEATH BECAUSE OF HIS NAME (Reuters)
Yesterday in Chicouver an man was killed because of his name, Scott. The roiters came up to Scott
asking who are you? were are you from? are you married or a bachelor? what party are you with?
to this he replyed, "I am from Oh Scotia, sadly i am a bachelor. I am with the DLPA, and My name
is Scott." The mob screamed out, "he is Scott Noseworthy, get him."
He pleaded for his life saying he was Scott the poet.
The mob showed no pity, and they they beat him to death.
OH SCOTIA ELECTION UPDATE
Tonight at midnight, the OSCP has a slight lead in the Oh Scotia legilsative elections. The DLPA
favoured party has 29 votes, to the RCAOS 27 votes. The MSOS has 12 votes, while the OSSA has but
3.
SPECIAL STILLER DAY EDITION:
5 DEATHS ANOUNCED IN AMERADA
This weekend, was indeed a bloody one. The Amerada National Cemetery has confirmed from sources the Friday a police officer, Sergeant Patterson in Los
Antreal died in the riots. Saturday two police officers, Sargent James Douglas McDonald, and Police Constabul.Robert William Smith, died in San
Franton from riots as well. On Monday police killed two protesters, William Derek Burnner and, Andrew Killock with guns. All were deaths were caused by firearms. The President wanted to make it clear, that he wanted to know how these protesters got the guns in the first place. It is illegal for
civilians to possess firearms. He was also angry at the new, New Columbia War act, which breaks the law, by murdering people, without government
permission, as in the case of the two protesters
who were killed by the police. The Prime Minister will make a decision on whether or not to execute the murderer, Joe Mosely in Los Antreal. A trial
will be held on December 28th, and the decision to execute him will come there after. As for the murders in New Columbia, the President asked for
proof, that the people killed by the police had a part in the murders of the 2 police officers. The President has stated that he does not want any
executions in San Franton, and is happy to anounce the streets of New Columbia are gun free. This brings the total number of deaths in Amerada up to 9. A memorial service for the deaths will be held in Washiawa is Monday, as the President declared a national day of memorium. Also, there will be a plaque for all 5 deaths at the Amerada National Cemetery, as the families of the victims do not wish them to be buried there.
ELECTION CALLED IN OH SCOTIA
On Sunday, Oh Scotia Governiere, Nicholas Bridgewater called an Oh Scotian legislative elections. He started a yahoo group, which was supposed to house the official election poll. Elections Amerada, however thought this method was illedal, because the main poll was not located on the official Oh Scotia site. After hearing this, a large argument broke out, but finaly the oh Scotian governiere decided to place the poll on the Oh Scotian site. Monday, was the date the polls opened, and at midnight tonight, the RCAOS and the DLPOS (called the Oh Scotia Colonial Party on the ballot) were tied, at 13 votes a piece. The MSOS had 6 votes, while the Oh Scotian Seperatist army had yet to register a vote. It looks to be like an exciting election!
PRESIDENT SAYS IT WAS ALL A JOKE, AND A MISUNDERSTANDING
Friday, Detipeg Free Press once again defended themselves, by attacking the WPC. They said some stuff, and attacked our neutral article, that looked at the recent President admitting he was a dictator thing. The president took this as a personal attack, and once again condemned the AAP for publishing such hogwash. He did comment that any misunderstanding of his words was bad, and those words were taken out of context, and were a joke anyway. He calls on Amerada to move on, stop rioting, and to have fun. "There is no reason for us to be mad, so let's try to get along, ok?" asked the people of Amerada. We conclude to defend the President in these hard times for himself. The President has only done what the people think is best for the Republic.
RAILROAD ROUTES ANOUNCED
Monday, Transportation minister, Derek McCullough, unveiled his plans for the routes for the new railroad proposed in Amerada. He tried to include all industrial locations, as well as national parks, military bases, and, of course villages to be linked up by the railroad. Derek announced that the he would begin construction in January, and plans to start in Washiawa, and in San Franton. His goal is to complete 1km a day. Construction has already began, to build a train station in Washiawa. It will be named Union Station. The first routes to be made will sprout out from the two villages. Routes out of Washiawa will go to New Onto, Detipeg, Dallton, and Amerada Forces Base Mierines.
STILLER DAY, LOTS OF GAMES
Friday was Stiller Day, and it was a fun day for all in Amerada. Members of the old legislature, as well as the new one played a game of 'Win Ben
Stiller's Money.' The President asked the participants for topics, and he then made questions for them. At the end of the game, former Labour
minister, Rachel Harrison won. She won 500 Amerada Bucks, which she will donate to the corn farmers of Amerada, and help them move to a new location.
Also an online version of the game was played, but in a different style. The President, hosting again gave clues of a country, and participants had to guess the country. At the end, Oh Scotia governiere, Nicholas Bridgewater won 100 Amerada bucks for charity.

AMERADA WANTS AN AWARD
Monday, the Norton awards were on the Presidents mind, as he stated on the micro-nations.org message board, that he wants to be on the panel. It's something he has wanted to do, from the first time he learned of the awards. He also brought to the presses attention, that Amerada may be deservant of an award. "After all, just look at how great we are now," he said. The President wants Amerada to win the 'new micronation of the year' award. The Norton awards will be given away January 8th.

NOVEMBER 29th
PRESIDENT CONDEMS AAP FOR SPREADING FLASE RUMOURS
The county was amazed to realize, that the President admitted to being a 'dictator' after hearing from it on the news. It was only AAP funded news though. After talking with the President, they believed they had 'proof' that the President claimed himself as a dictator. After learning this, the President condmed the act calling it 'cowardly.' But it was too late, while most people were smart enough to realize they were just rumours, the people of Los Antreal rioted. The President was also shocked to see a defaced flag of Amerada on the Los Antreal Times-Journal website. The President said it was illegal, and would press charges. The LATJ took it off. In reaction to the proof that was laid out on AAP news sources that stated he admitted to being a dictator, the President said he did not mean it. He said, that he may seem a little like a dictator, but there is nothing to worry, and believe it or not it is for the better of the Country. "The AAP manipulated my words, and have created unrest" The President stated. But, it is time for us to think. Think, how great it is in Amerada. Whatever the President is doing seems alright, and it is best not to question it, unless something really bad happens. But, the President is certainly not a dictator. He is opposed to some DLPA plans to delete the RCAA. He is for democracy, and he also is planing an election. An election that can very well, make or break his political career. Pretty democratic, wouldn't you say?
LITTLE WANTS TO CREATE A 'BIG' COMMONWEALTH
Peter Little is thinking BIG today, as he proposed plans to the President about creating a commonwealth between Amerada, and Camerica. With a single President for the commonwealth, with a seperate Senate. But the individual micronations get to reun themseleves, basicaly hassle free. The President opposes this issue, stating that it will take away Amerada's identity, but he did state that he does not hate it. But, it is a big thing to organize, and the President has stated he doesnt want it happening immediately. Peter seems to really like it though, and will probably bring the issue up again.

NOVEMBER 28th
PRESIDENT CONDEMS NEW COLUMBIA
Today, more riots broke loose in San Franton, as people there are mad at the new Amerada legislative act. The New Columbian governiere clearly stated he did not wish, Sir Leao V, the new representitive from the New Columbia riding to enter the colony. After hearing of the violence, the President condemed the protesters, and threatened to send some of the to the Slim Shady Maximum Security Prision in Washiawa. He also stated that if the vilonce there does not stop, he may have to call in the military, or even worse replace the governiere.
NEW ELECTION SITE
The President unvealed a new website that will host all of Amerada's election information. He stated that this website is by far nicer looking than any other he has made. It can be found at: http://www.elections.am.50megs.com
THE RACE CONTINUES!
Today the President and the prime minieter wanted to have another impeachment hearing for the Vice Preisident, but the Vice President, once again stated he'd do that essay, that is needed. Dan Trudel also stated that he will start the essay, tonight. The winner of the race gets to take the last seat in the Amerada legislature.
NOVEMBER 27th
OLYMPIC ROSTER NEEDED
Today, it has been anounced by the Micronational Games comitee, that micronations need to hurry up with the rosters of their teams. Throughout the next week, people of Amerada will be called on to be included on the roster. Matthew McIvor has already volunteered to play Chess, Checkers and Reversi.
FOREIGN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT HAS HAPPY NEWS AND SAD NEWS
Today the Foreign Affairs Department has anounced they have opened relations with a wonderful new micronation who has contacted them, the Barony of Caux. They are also trying to start a new organization, and seem to be closely affiliated with Molossia. On a sad note, Amerada's oldest diplomatic partner, Ambrosia has been contacted by the department. It has now been 1 month since Ambrosia and Amerada have reached six whole months of relations. A letter was then sent out, looking for activity. No reply has been given in 1 month, and therefore the foreign affairs department sadly stated that relations have been officialy closed.
DLPA STILL NUMBER ONE, SAYS LATJ POLL
Some good news for the DLPA, as an LATJ poll released information on the leading political party in Amerada. It appears 51% of Ameradians support the DLPA, while only 45% support the RCAA. This poll was done in western Amerada, no less! From these results, the WPC predicts between 65% and 75% of the population support the DLPA, and 20% to 30% support the RCAA. Stats from the poll state that the DLPA had as high as 60% earlier in the day.
NOVEMBER 26th
OPPOSITION OUTRAGED AT DLPA 'PRO-AMERADA' PROPOSAL
Today the President anounced that the very first bill he would create for the new Amerada legislature would be one that would make sure the head of state or head of government of Amerada would not be head of state or government of another country. Some say this is the DLPA's aproach to riding Peter and Nick from the political spotlight, while other's say it is one step closer to making sure that if the President or prime minister loses, he will be replaced with some one who will be dedicated to the job. It does, make sense that the President or primeminister of Amerada should not be a leader of another country, shouldn't it? Scott Noseworthy, who currently is not a leader of a micronation at the moment, said that he will not betray his leader, and become the new leader. Nick and Peter are furious, but will have to deal with the situation in a manner that's best for Amerada. It seems many people support this proposition, and it looks like the President may even go ahead with it.
Also in the pre-legislature news, Sir Leao V has confirmed the New Columbia riding, for the DLPA. This leaves Tebec for an exciting race to see whether Jon or Dan will get it.
PRESIDENT ANOUNCES EXACT ELECTION DATE
A little premature, but the President has anounced exactly the dates for the 2002-2003 presidential election. He stated that the polls will open at noon December 7th 2002, and close at noon December 14th.

IT'S NO SECRET, ELECTIONS NEXT DECEMBER
It's probably the worst kept secret in Amerada, but despite some newspapers publishing a January election, the actual Presidential election was anounced today to be in December of 2002. It seems that the prime minister pretended to hate the President infront of RCAA and MSA members, but says it's all part of his plan. Some of the lies he said, included a false election date, and telling MSA leader Nicholas Bridgewater he had a seat in the legislature. But the prime minister confirmed these were lies.

NOVEMBER 23rd
LACHARITE RESIGNS
Today, Andrew Lacharite has resigned as governiere of Califario. Perhaps a sad day, because the DLPA are losing yet another governiere, but this time he will be replaced by, Matthew McIvor, who has been waiting patiently for the next position to come up. And this is it. While Andrew resigned as governiere, he stated that he'd sleep on the thought of being a member of the new Amerada legislature. As the new governiere of Califario Matt has already stated that one or tow of the two Califario newspapers (likely the New Onto Times-Star) will join the Amerada Reuters. He also stated that he may have the Nut, New Macadam's leadig newspaper in the Amerada Reuters aswell. Maybe they'll rename the organization to Micro-Reuters?
AMERADA RIDING MAP COMPLETED
Tonight the President revealed a new map of the 10 Amerada Ridings. One made the previous day, had to be scratched because it was not taking in affect villages that haven't been built yet. Here is a list of the 10 ridings, and the village it will serve.
01- MCD-Cincivieres (Washiawa)
02- New Onto-Pitsutimi (New Onto)

The DLPA have to be able to fill all ridings by January 1st, 2002, or there will have to be by-elections.

NOVEMBER 22nd
LEGISLATIVE ACT PASSED, A NEW ERA FOR AMERADA
Today, the Amerada Lagislative Act Bill was both created and voted on by a 3-0 margin. The main idea of the bill was to create an online legislature so, that laziness within the government may be abolished. Here are some highlights of the new Law:
The DLPA has untill January 1st 2002 to fill all 10 seats (note). There will be 10 seats, and each will be given to a person from a party depending on the last election result. Each member will be from a different riding, which is a geographical area of Amerada that equals about 1 tenth the population of Amerada. A by-election shall be held whenever a member is fired, or resigns. All bills shall be anounced to all members within a one week time frame, and shall be voted on during that time. There must be a majority plus one for bills to pass as law. A member can only be fired if a majority plus 1 votes to fire him/her. An electoral division map of Amerada shall be provided. Members of the leading party will be assigned cabinet positions.
On the same note, Jonathan Weatherhead may be in the legislature, because he has anounced that he will be doing the essay for the prime minister. And, upon hearing this the President dropped charges of impeachment against the Vice-President.
And on a happy note, the President has agreed to change the name of Ben Stiller Day (November 30th) to Stiller Day, in honour of the new 'Stiller Beer Co.' which was formed from Budatt and Milson. November 30th will feature a special 'Win Ben Stiller's Money' show on WBS, hosted by the prime minister himself! And, Stiller Beer has anounced that they are runing a logo contest.
NEW VILLAGE IN AMERADA
The ongoing oil industry growing in Floerta has pressured the government to create a new village in Amerada's oil belt. 'Houdon' will be up the Atlener river from Floerta's capital, Dallton. Houdon, however will contain more primary industry, and give some of that oil, to fuel Amerada. This means money, money, money for Floerta's governiere, Glen Bohach. Houdon is Amerada's 10th village.
AMERADA OPENS RELATIONS WITH THE CALIPHATE OF BRAZIL
Amerada has opened relation with the Caliphate of Brazil, a primarily muslim micronation, after Khilafa Abdula solicited the government to help them. This led to the eventual official opening of relations, and now a possibility of exchanging ambassadors.
NOVEMBER 21st
TRIAL A MISS, RESCHEDULED FOR TOMMOROW
The impeachment trial for the Vice President Jonathan Weather head was set for tonight at 7pm. When the President tried to organize it, the supreme court members failed to go along with it, and all tried quiting. The members said they were too busy, but they were comiting a crime by not compiling. Unfortunately, charges will not be given, but they must attend tommorow. The President will be in the legislature tommorow, so he can remind the members of the trial.
MISS A DAY, DONT MISS A LOT
Not much happened today in the legislature, as reported by both the prime minister, and the Deputy prime minister. The President was not there today, and he didn't miss much. The Amerada legislature act, the act that will change Amerada for the better, will be brought up tommotow.

NOVEMBER 20th
NEW GOVERNMENT TO BE FORMED
After all these firings were made, the President stated he would like to create a legislative act, which will involve moving the Amerada legislature from off-line on to the net. This will create new jobs, and make Amerada's political life more interesting. There may be electoral districts, and by elections and a new cabinet. The President will not be able to attend the legislature tommorow, but will have an act created by Thursday. Amerada will pass this hurdle, as it has before, and as it will again.
Today a Derek McCullough, William Steeves, Earl Washburn, Dan Trudel and Mark Hickman were the only remaining members of the legislature. Dan Trudel was granted until Wednesday to complete his essay.
PRESIDENT CALLS ON YET ANOTHER IMPEACHMENT
It seems the President is on an impeachment frenzy, as he called on to the 'new' legislature that gathered today to impeach the Vice President. Jonathan Weatherhead was already fired by the prime minister for not completing his essay, which is evidence that Jon is no longer devoted to Amerada, and therefore should be stripped of his duties. Derek McCullough is the leading candidate for the appointed position. The trial is set for tommorow at 7pm.

ESSAYS IN, MANY DO NOT COMPLETE THEM
It was an end of an era today, as few cabinet ministers handed in their essays to the prime minister. It is a complicated issue, and it's not quite sure the fate the Amerada legislature. The President was the only one who actually brought his essay to the legislature. Derek McCullough and William Steeves both brought disks, but only Derek printed his out. Dan Trudel was given until Wednesday to do his, and Mark Hickman said he did his, but he will not be fired. The new Amerada legislature is set to convene in a new location tommorow, so that they avoid the old members. Now it's up to the legislature to figure out what to do now, with half as many members.
WASHIAWA METEOROLOGICAL STATION PUBLISHES WEATHER INFORMATION FOR PRESS.
Today, citizens of Washiawa learned some interesting information about the weather since the station opened up in March, and before that with amateur weather forecasting. The results have shown that the hotest day in Washiawa, was August 9th, when it was 37 degrees celsius (99 Farenheit). The coldest day was recorded by amateurs, on February 22nd, when it was -18 degrees celsius (-2 Farenheit) on February 22nd. There are some notes to pass along, about some days having incomplete data. March 31st, May 7th, May 12th, May 19th, September 3rd, October 13th, and October 17th, information was from the New Onto weather station. May 26th, May 27th, September 29th, October 13th, October 14th, and October 22nd no data was recorded. September 4th and October 24th, there was limited data.
NOVEMBER 18th
MICRO-MONDE UPDATES
There hasn't been much news in the 'micro-monde' organization for a while, because of lack of time. But, that doesnt mean the interest is not there. The President is still trying to figure out the situation in Interland (Tymaria), and their former leader Sean Walker (Yuri Andropov) wants to have the PRNSE in micro-monde. Aswell, it looks like the NWK will have it's province of Intos in micro-monde. Camerica and Pacary will be then next map additions. Camerica will be located south of Tebec, and is 1/3 the size of Amerada. Pacary will be located in an empty area of micro-monde, but if Intos becomes a part of MM, they will have new neighbours. Camerica's territory of Monlan will be north of Michswick, while Japanada will be south of Camerica. Sakberta, may also join MM.
ESSAYS: WHO HAS DONE THEM?
Well, the President has showed of HIS ESSAY to the local press today, and it looks very well done. The essay is for Will's plan to make the Amerada legislative activities more serious. It appears that few of the members have actually done them. Derek McCullough and the Primeminister may be the only one's who will do them. Tommorow is the big day, when we will find out Will's plan.

NOVEMBER 17th
MSA BECOMES OFFICIAL PARTY
It's now official, Nicholas Bridgewater finally handed in his submission form to the President for his party. The Monarhist Society of Amerada, was founded when Nick became governiere Oh Scotia. Since then he went on to pick up 2 seats in the New Columbia legislature as well as form a conservative coallition with other conservative parties in the micronational world. The main focus of the party is to create an alternative to the 2 main parties, as will as install a monarchy in Amerada. One question is created however, is the MSA left wing or tight wing. Mr. Bridgewater tells us he's 50% socialist, 50% conservative, but 100% monarchist.
The GLA will not be seeing the MSA in their organization, but unfortunately Peter Little will be. He has entered the Kato Conf party. President Washburn condemns this action, stating that Peter could be a spy.

NOVEMBER 16th
GLOBAL LIBERAL ALLIANCE FORMED TO OPPOSE MCC
Leaders of a small handful of centre and left wing parities in the micronational world discusses creating an organization to oppose the Micronational Conservative Coallition. The President of Amerada, Earl Washburn thought of the idea, with the help of Ka Naji, of Kato is runing in an upcoming election in Kato, and deputy prime minister Derek McCullough. It will expand however, hopefuly to New Macadam, and Camerica and onward throuought the micronational world.
TOUGH TIMES AHEAD FOR AMERADA IN THE LEGISLATURE
With likely few to do the Primeminister's essay, there will be few who will not be fired on Monday. One plan discussed by the parties leaders today was to move the legislature area, so that the fired members can't find them. This was agreed upon to take affect Tuesday. But, while there will be fewer legislature/cabinet members, there may be more dedication towars the true goal in mind, to make Amerada a better place.
AAP ACUSES THE DLPA OF COMMUNISM
As a DLPA supportive newspaper, we'd like to point out that, the AAP accusations of the DLPA being communist are wrong. They are soely based on comments by the President who stated the DLPA is getting further left from centre to compensate for the RCAA. The DLPA, we would like to remind you are slightly left of centre. Rioters reacted to the news of the DLPA alledgaly being communists in New Columbia. Here is a edited version from the AAP: A major tonight had the NCCC called in to stop it as protesters chanted ban the "communist" DLPA, started to burn efiges of the President and the Prime Minister, then certain groups attacked people in the DLPA boroughs. There were several injures. A house, that was also serving as the DLPNC headquarters was burntdown later on when a group the New Columbia Defense Union though molotov cocktails in to the building. A pro-DLPA anarchy group the Amerada Loyalist Faction attacked some youths in pro-RCAA communities. The NCC arrested about 20 this evening.
NOVEMBER 15th
AMERADA CIVIL WAR!!!
Both sides have heated up today, and it looks like a war may break out. Currently it is just a war of words, but the RCAA is being very aggressive to the DLPA action plan. The RCAA have gathered their allies in Camerica and Saskberta, and they have threatened war. A ground war cant happen until they have netered micro-monde. New Macadam is also in on this. Their senators have condemed Earl Washburn, saying that he is undemocratic. They even threatened to cut relations. The President told the press that even before the RCAA, his mind was set on democracy and happiness in Amerada. It appears the RCAA is mad at the President for planning to apoint people from his party as governieres. This is only because he is the DLPA, and of course, he wants to appoint people from the DLPA. He also considered the RCAA very lucky to have their members as governieres. Derek McCullough, and William Steeves, two of Amerada's most dedicated politicians, have condemed the RCAA for their agreassive behaviour, and really want to seek justice.
SPORTS: AMERADA TO GET CRICKET TEAM
Amerada has joined a new sports orgainzation, formed by Will Choc. The first sport to be contested will be Cricket, and Amerada signed up right away. Cricket is not very popular in Amerada now, but is expected to become more popular.

NOVEMBER 14th
McCULLOUGH ANNOUNCES PLAN TO SPAN AMERADA BY TRAIN
Derek McCullough has brought back the issue of creating a trans Ameradian railroad today. He actually hasnt heard of the idea yet, but he thought of it yesterday. It has been thought of before however. Anyway, it's in the works now, and it's going to help the prairies transport grain, along with other shipment needs. The transportation department is still studying the issue.
STEEVES ANNOUNCES ESSAY PLAN TO LEGISLATURE
It is not a bright day in Amerada. Most cabinet ministers are strictly against making the 300 word essay announced by the primeminister. The prime minister stated that he would fire all who don't complete it. What will come of this? The future will tell.
BRIDGEWATER STRAIGHTEN THINGS OUT
Oh Scotian governiere Nicholas Bridgewater admits today, forming a coallition with the RCAA. He does not say why, but it appears he has favoured his new friends in the RCAA over, the realists over in the DLPA. "This is a blow to Amerada, and a blow to our party" said the President, "My relationship with Nick will never be the same." The past week has been frustrating for the President, and it's only getting worse. Nick only stated he'd support the RCAA in New Columbia, but it is believed that his support will spread to federal politics. He down right denied joining the party though.

PRIMEMINISTER TO ANOUNCE ESSAY FOR AMERADA CABINET MINISTERS
Today the prime minister announced that he will ask every cabinet minister in Amerada to make a 300 word essay by next monday, or else. This has created shock, because it's known that Amerada's cabinet minister's are very lazy, and probably wont do it. The President ensured the primeminister, that he would do it, and told the press, he somewhat supports the ideas. Mr. Steeves will anounce the idea to the cabinet tommorow.
DLPA GOVERNIERES WANT TO CREATE OPPOSITION PRESS CORP
Well, it was only Michswick governiere Derek McCullough, and the governiere of MCD (aka the President) Earl Washburn, but the point is clear. The AAP has shown it is very succesful opposing the WPC, and now that the Chicouver Tribune-Sun is about to go online, the two governieres want to create a press corp. After a mild discussion of trying to choose a name, they decided on 'Amerada Reuters'
DLPA ACTION PLAN GETS STARTED
The DLPA has done a good job, finding two people, who will in the future be appointed governieres of colonies. Sir Leao V of Babylon 6 has joined the DLPA along with a left wing party leader from New Macadam, Matthew McIvor. Also, when Illitoban governiere Xavier Redhead heard about the plan, he got onboard, proposing new ideas. What will the future hold...?

DLPA CREATES ACTION PLAN TO SAVE AMERADA FROM GROWING RCAA SUPPORT
A few members of the DLPA discussed today about the threat of their new opposition, the RCAA came into affect. The President said, I "fear the worst, because it looks like the RCAA are for real." This statement coming after long time friend, William Choc of New Macadam said he was going to support the RCAA. When the President discussed it with Michswick governiere, Derek McCullough, Derek was ver revengful, calling for a civil war. But, the President wants peace, and insured Ameradian he will try to recruit more members for the DLPA around the world. Along eith these events, the President anounced a new line up for governieres. The public has clearly shown their distress on Earl's choice for governieres of New Columbia, Tebec, and Floerta, so the President has anounced the next few governieres of Ameradian colonies will be from the DLPA.

RCAA MOVES FORWARD WITH HQ IN CAPITAL
The RCAA continues to sweep the country by surprise today, as they move their headquaters from a regional location in San Franton to the capital of Amerada, Washiawa. Instead of renting space in the White Buildings, like the DLPA has done, they chose to start from scratch with construction of a new headquaters, sandwiched between Riverside street, and the Onto River in Centretown. The RCAA believed they can get more support in the capital, because they look less regionalized, and more nationalized. Extreme DLPA activists, and local beach entusiasts were mad at the action, and fear the RCAA has gone too far. But, it does look like the RCAA is here to stay.
RCAA MAKES COALLITION WITH MSA IN NEW COLUMBIA
To gain a full majority in the New Columbia legislature, the RCAA made a coallition with the Monarchist Society of Amerada. It's not sure if they did this nationaly, becasue the whole issue is hazy, but it looks like the RCAA have figured out a solution to their problems in the New Columbia legislature. What is with MSA leader Nicholas Bridgewater, it's not for certain. He escaped interview today, but we asure you we will know what's going on eventually.

The federal government opened a new park in the new Colony of Floerta. "Foot Hills National Park" is located west of Dallton the capital on hwy 1 half way from Dallton to Los Antreal. It'll be one of Amerada's largest parks, extending from the Missisenzie River to the main highway in the south. It is 500km wide! It's main geographical form is the foothills of course, which dominate the southern part of the park. The Missisenzie River is also a major form aswell.

LEGISLATURE BACK TO NORMAL
The Amerada legislature is back to normal, the way it was 6 months ago, but this time with a new prime minister. It seems the major news happenings of the last few months are behind us, and the legislature can get back to normal. Today they had some fun, because the primeminister has been waiting a long time to have a 'fun day' But on a serious note, Health minister Owen White was almost fired today by the PM, for obvious reasons, but the President ensured the PM, that 'we can't afford to lose anyone.'

It's official, today, as advised by the President, prime-minister William Steeves shuffled the Amerada cabinet. He made Dan Trudel Labour minister, and Rachel Harrison Justice minister. This will ease of the work load placed on Rachel's shoulders, which will be placed on someone more qualified.

AMERADA PICTURE DAY
Today the Vice-President, Jonathan Weatherhead brought out his camera to the legislature, as he called today the official picture day in Amerada. He asked the entire legislature to show up for the shoots. 1 picture is of everyone, except Heritage minister Genevieve Wong, who showed up, but disappeared. The second picture is a special one of the four most powerful people in Amerada: the President, Earl Washburn, the Prime-minister, William Steeves, the Vice-president, and the Deputy prime-minister, Derek McCullough.

FLOERTA GETS FIRST GOVERNIERE
The newly formed colony of Floerta, already got a governiere to form a government today. RCAA member, Glen Bohach will be Floerta's first governiere. The AAP hounded their friend with wants of a website for the Dallton newspaper, the Morning Spectator. The governiere is the third RCAA member in the list of governieres, which may lead to some difficulties in Amerada, with more and more anti-RCAA protests.

OIL! WE FOUND OIL!
Amerada will be booming rich, after survryors have discovered oil up the Atlener river in Floerta unorganized Territory. The surveyors have already started building a village on the banks of the river, and are naming the village 'Dallton' The Interior ministry also declared the Floerta Unorganized Territory, an official Colony of the Republic today. Now, the question is, who will be the governiere of Floerta? The President is expected to make a decision this week.
More about Floerta: Floerta is Amerada's second largest colony now, and is situated right next to Tebec, and stretches from the southern coast to the mighty Missisenzie River. Almost half of Floerta is mountainous (in the south) but also contains lush mixed forest, and prairie land. The flag acurately depicts the landscape in the coat of arms, which also has the words 'Great Floerta' around it.

RELATIONS OPENED WITH SASKBERTA
Today the foreign Affairs office succesfuly approved relations with the Republic of Saskberta. Saskberta is a micronation closely allied with Camerica, a micronation that is close to Amerada. Amerada wants to open relations with Camerica, and is currently in the proccess of doing so. The leader of Saskberta is Glen Bohach, who is on the New Columbia legislative assembly, so it only makes sense to have opened relations with him.

POSSIBLE SWITCHEROO IN THE LEGISLATURE
As the Republic gets back to normal after the Scott Noseworthy trial, the first issue of order was getting back to business as usual. Labour minister, Rachel Harrison has stated she no longer wants to have the job, because she doesn't take it seriously enough. So, with some interviews with justice minister Dan Trudel, it is clear to see that maybe he may make a better Labour minister, and make Rachel Justice minister, which is a lot easier.

NOSEWORTHY GUILTY OF TERRORISM!
While little talks of any signifagance happened in the legislature, the big news came from a different place: The Amerada Sureme Court. At 7:45pm, the court finally started for the Noseworthy trial. The President was prosecuter, the Deputy Primeminiter, Derek McCullough was judge, Governiere Nicholas Bridgewater defended Scott, and Mark Hickman, and Genevieve Wong were on the jury. The court started off with questioning Mark Hickman, which didn't go well, for both sides, and 'plan a' (the conversation that started it all) didn't seem to work for the prosecution. But, the prosecution slammed down the trial win with the obvious proof that Scott Noseworthy deleted the Amerada forum. This seemed to work, pursuaying the jury to eventually vote guilty. The defence, Mr. Bridgewater brought to the courts attention a questioning of the man himself, Scott Noseworthy, who he had questioned earlier. The jury didnt seem to care what Scott had said, and after the closing statements were complete, the jury, and the judge voted Scott guilty of terrorism offending Amerada. The Judge, laid a fine of 30,000 Amerada Bucks.

TWO MAJOR ACTS MADE LAW IN LEGISLATURE
Today the Amerada legislature passed two major acts, the Amerada Elections Act, and the Amerada Supreme Court Act. The Amerada Elections act was created in retaliation for the 'rigged' New Columbia government election. The first part of the act deals with all elections of any level in Amerada. It states that: all elections must last a week, all elections must be in poll form, elections must happen within every 4 years, and have to happen within the first 2 years of that places existance. The second part of the act is just for Federal elections. It states that: The election should be provided by alxnet, and be on the Amerada website, only registered national parties may contest, and how they can register as a party, that all presidential elections must happen every four years, and the first on has to happen by February 2003, and a primeministerial election must happen every 4 years, (multi party) and every year for party leadership. The Supreme court act states that: the acused are only in the Amerada government, they must be held at 7:00 at night (eastern), members must be in the government, and are split between judge, jury, prosecuter, and defence, that the judge makes up how he organizes the trial, and the final decision is 50% judge, 50% jury.
NOSEWORTHY TRIAL DELAYED
The Scott Noseworthy trial has been delayed. It was originaly set to got today under Amerada's new supreme court act. Not enough people showed up for the trial between 7pm and 8pm, so the trial was delayed until tommorow, when we will hopefuly know the outcome of Scott's future.

ELECTION CREATES STIR IN AMERADA
It's just a colonial government election, but the President, and the primeminister have tried their best to spread the word to vote for the DLPA. But with over 30 votes, it was obvious they wouldnt catch the RCAA. Tempers still flared up as tension grew. It looks like the RCAA will end up victors with a 17 vote lead, and only 15 hours to go. But, the election went for such a short time, and there is speculation that the polls may have been rigged. Because of the controversy, the President hopes to create an election act for Amerada, stating that all elections must last for 7 days.
NEW VILLAGE IN AMERADA?
Yet another new adition to Ameradian villages will be happening soon. Just south of the jusction of the only 2 highways in Floerta Territory, up the Atlener river lies, what surveyors say, a country of great resources. Rumours are flying about that Amerada may have enough oil in this region to fuel Amerada for thousands of years. It nay only be days when you will hear the news of a new village, one that will 'fuel' Amerada.
SPORTS: Just leting you know, the Amerada Sports series resumes today in the Amerada nautical sports Championships in San Franton. We're very sorry about our recent shortage of sports scores, but we have been back logged.

NOSEWORTHY TRIAL SET FOR MONDAY
The Steeves administration has decided to go ahead with the trial, that's about suspecting that Tebec Governiere, Scott Noseworthy of being a terrorist. When Scott found out about this news, he deleted the Amerada forum, only making his chances worse for winning the trial. The trial will be on Monday, becasue the President wants to vote in a bill to create a supreme court, and when this is done, all future court proceedings will have to abide to it.
This all coming after today in the legislature, the President, Earl Washburn, and the Prime minister, William Steeves agreed to support each other. A move that will definately strengthen Amerada in the long run.
NEW COLUMBIA ELECTION CONSIDERED AN "EMBARASSMENT"
Today, the President called the New Columbia government election an embarassment, as he saw the current scheme of things on day one. Last night, the RCANC was way out in the lead with 11 votes. The MSNC had about a quarter of that, while the DLPNC registered only one vote. The DLPNC faces a large danger of losing this race.

NOSEWORTHY ACUSED OF SUPPORTING SHADOW
Tebec Governiere, Scott Noseworthy has been acused today of supporting the recent Shadow terrorism attacks. As he talked to Defence minister Mark Hickman, he openely congratulated Mark for his attack. Mark thanked him. This casued some stir, as people then assumed Mark was the leader of the Shdow group. Scott was put on hold, and will be delt with later. Mark later denied wholehartedly, and stated he was just going along with him. He then pointed blame's finger at Jon, and promised that next week he'll have conclusive proof that the Vice President was incharge of the attacks. In light of the events, Amerada prime minister, William Steeves temporarily fired Mark, but rehired him, after Mark said it was Jon.
BUSINESS NEWS:
Today ASEA has anounced that they are looking for someone to lead operations, and publish the weekly Exchange rate. They have recently not published the rate because of this.
A new press organization was formed today, the Amerada Associated Press. A colaboration of newspapers from 3 colonies will make up the news group. Unfortunately the papers are the Los Antreal Times Journal, the Detipeg Free Press, and the San Franton Chronicle-Journal, instead of our paper. The group stated they did not want national papers, so they excluded the WPC. They did not realize that the WPC is a Washiawa paper. The organization is believed to be just a group of anti-DLPA state leadership, and is expected to be handing out rumours and bad propoganda about the DLPA.
