August 17th
AMERADA AWAITS SUNDAY MEETING
Today Amerada's President Earl Washburn, and Canusa's president Roch St. George chated at the micro-nations chat room. One of the discussions was the meeting, and Roch was invited. Thes british micronations's site is: http://welcome.to/novobritannia
AUGUST 13th

PRESIDENT PHONES PM
The Primeminister of Amerada, Derek McCullough was telephoned by the Predident today. It was a reminder of current events, and the possibility of meeting with other government officials on the 19th. Derek had not been on the internet for a while and did not recieve the emails sent to him by the president. Its been 5 weeks since they last communicate, via email. "It was nice to here from him, although he didn't sound like his usual self," the President stated. He asked the PM to email him A.S.A.P so that they may be able to arrange preperations for a possible get together.
FIRST BIRD SANCTUARY PROPOSED
A bird Sanctuary has been prposed in a very remote area of Amerada. Many species of birds were discovered on William's Island of the William's Island group off the coast of Tebec. This region has many large mountains, with the highest peak on William's Island reaching almost 1300m high. This Island is the most greenest of the William's group, and i probably why so many birds have flocked there. The south cost of Tebec has recently been surveyed, and the surveyors suggested the idea. So far the only other park in Tebec is the largest in Amerada, Papua and Sa National Park, which is 500km northwest of William's Island. The sanctuary will go in affect later this month.
PART 11: $ 10 MINIMUM
Former Finance minister Daniel Trudell's first bill was that minimum wage was to be set at $ 5 an hour. It was turned down, so he doubled it, to $ 10 an hour. This bill was voted as a law. Higher than anyone can imagine, almost everyone in Amerada gets payed an hour. This got many employers mad, because they are having trouble paying this amount. No matter what the job may be and no matter what the circumstance may be, this is to be law, and an employer may get arrested for paying less. This has happened in resturaunts, where they think with tips, it's over , so they set it much lower. They may do this, but if an hour comes that the employee recieves less than with tips, than they may sue their employer. And it works. August 12th: No littering!

AUGUST 1st
PART 10: NO JAILBREAKING
Part 10 of our series looking at Amerada's laws sees, a pretty obvious law: Once you're in jail, stay there! But since there were no laws in Amerada at the begining, the obvious laws had to come first. So if you're caught breaking away from Amerada's only jail, the Slim Shady minimum security prison, your sentence will increase. It's pretty easy to escape from Slim Shady, and it has happened many times. On average a startling half of all inmates get out, but on all ocaisons they were caught, and sent back. The reason? Slim Shady is minimum security, but conditions at Slim Shady would be considered against earth's human rights code. But we'll look at that another day.
Tommorow: Minimum wage set at $ 10.
JULY 31st
SHOULD THE WASHIAWA POST-CITIZEN BRING BACK ITS POLLS?

We want to know what you think!

PART 9: THE RIGHT TO OWN PRIVATE PROPERTY
Part 9 of our series of Amerada laws, we will look at the right to own private property. While you can take one's property away from them, you can own it too. Right now, the government is selling land for free, so the only property you have to worry about is basic necessities. But you better keep them under control, be the bill saying 'you can't steal' was voted against! It is very hard to believe. Police though can put someone in jail for stealing, because it is immoral. Most of the land in Amerada is owned by the government, but it awaits being given to you the customer. Tommorow: It is illigal to break away from jail.
AMERADA SENDS EMAILS TO THREE MICRONATIONS
Babkha, TorHavn, and the Commonwealth of the Central Islands, have been approached by the foreign affairs department of Amerada, to open diplomatic realtions. All three micronations will be participating in the micronational olympics, and TorHavn is hosting it. The fact that Amerada is an IOC member may help them with Babkha and the CCI, because both of them are looking to enter the IOC. TorHavn has a strict diplomatic policy, so it may not happen. Amerada may appropach Corvinia, soon, because they are also in the IOC, and the olympics. Amerada will atempt, someday to approach the micronations participating in the 2001 Molossia exposition aswell.
JULY 30th
AMERADA RETHINKS ABOUT JOINING THE LOSS OR LOM
King Spence of Zarahemla, a member of both LOM and LOSS mentioned to the President that he would help Amerada get into both organizations. Amerada's President filled out a form for the LOM, like he did many months ago. Its not sure if the LOM will respond. It took many months for them to do so the first time, and Amerada is still in the process of trying to enter LOM. As for LOSS, their site is down, and Amerada must wait for their six month birthday, February 12th. The SpUM remains the only intermicronational organization Amerada is in.
ORANGE AMBASSADOR HELPS OUT OUR PAPER
Refering to the July 23rd article about him the ambassador to Orange, who likes to be called Taio said this in an Orange yahoo group email. The message has been translated from its original language, Portuguese. "Jeni, as I had commented, I am giving you this email with this article that was published in the Washiawa Post-Citizen, newspaper of the Republic of Amerada, micronation in which I am having the honor of being ambassador." Jeni, of course is the Orange Foreign Affairs minsiter. Today a large amount of Orangers went to our paper's site, and the Washiawa Post-Citizen would like to thank Taio for all his work!
PART 8: THE RIGHT NOT TO BEAR ARMS
The 8th law to be passed in Amerada had overwhelming support despite the controversy one would think went with it.. The Ameradian government, coming from Canada, a country with strict gun laws, voted for the bill stating 'there shall be no fire arms in the Republic of Amerada.' Our American readers may find this hard to believe, because the second ammendmant of the U.S. is the right to bear arms. Most Ameradians, though feel safer in Amerada, and is why Amerada is considered a safe haven paradise. The law was created to prevent things that happen every day in the U.S. such as armed robery and murder. There is a small cathch tough. The police, and the military are allowed to use guns, and are advised to watch over them very carefully, because there may be theft. Any type of fire arm or a weapon that fires is not allowed to be possesed sold or used in Amerada. The government looked at banning air tipped bullets all together, but the bill wasn't passed. Tommorow: The right to own property.

July 29th
PART 7: PLEASE DON'T OFFEND AMERADA, IT'S THE LAW!
While now bills were ever passed stating that you can't offend the government, or the party in power, one no-offence bill did pass as a law. The seventh law passed in Amerada was one the contradicts the freedom of speech law. It's also hard to inforce. But supporters say if you offend Amerada, you don't deserve to live here! There have been some incidents, and some small cases and people were thrown in jail for a week, but nothing serious like flag burning or anything. The worst thing heard was 'Amerada sucks' or 'f*** this country.' Judges have the final descision on how serious the offence is and how long the prosecuters must spend in jail. And you must have substantial proof, witnesses won't do. Video camera, or tape recorded evidence is required, and witnesses sometimes are needed. Tommorow: No guns allowed!
NEW ONTO DESTROYED BY BEONS- FOOTBALL
The Chicouver Beons tie Los Antreal for the league lead at 3-1 today has they hammer down the Giginauts, 22-4. Now New Onto hold the league record for the most points in a game, and least points in a game. New Onto drops to 1-3, tied with the Red Riders. Next week it's battle of the basement, as New Onto plays Washiawa, and battle of the top, as Los Antreal play Chicouver.
HAZRA-BIZAN TO DRAFT CONSTITIUTION, WANTS AMERADA'S HELP
It seems every micronation is becoming really nice to Amerada. The President was happy to know that Amerada's newest diplomatic partner, Hazra-Bizan will be drafting a constitution this week and are having many celebrations. And Amerada will help. No word yet on what Amerada's role is. They will officialy draft their constitution August 1st.
NEW DNA DATA REVEALS SHADOW'S BIRTH YEAR
Faint traces of Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) have been found at the Amerada Internet Headquarters today. The DNA was analyzed, and determined that it was shadow, and scientists also discovered the birth year. It was 1986, according to the scientists, and that may help in the investigation of who Shadow aka Jack was. One other piece of evidence was his email, which is jackson@hotmail.com
Shadow was killed after a nuclear bomb was dropped on his illigal base, which is now Amerada Internet Headquarters.

July 28th NEW SOCCER LEAGUE IN AMERADA
The new sports minister Roch St. Geoerge, today unvealed SLA, The Soccer League of Amerada. It was recommended that a soccer league start up because there is a micronational socccer league, and Amerada wants a league where our best can train for national events. The teams announced by Roch were the Los Antreal Rage, the Chicouver Bears, the San Franton Legends, the Tebec Knights, the Washiawa Giants, the New Onto Blues, the M.C.D Comets and the
Califario Devils. Roch wanted 8 teams so, 3 villages recieved 2 teams. It's likely that these extra teams will move to better markets. It's still unsure when the league will start, but already enough players have contacted Roch about signing up for the teams. The league has its own website, and can be found at http://zonemania1.homestead.com/soccer_home.html
NEW HIGHWAY COMPLETED FROM CHICOUVER TO SAN FRANTON
As San Franton awaits hiting the 50 people mark, the newly formed village will be connected to the rest of Amerada by 1100 km. of road going from Chicouver, across the northern Los Antreal desert to San Franton on the west coast. The highway will be known as highway 2 in Michswick, and highway 1 in New Columbia.
RIDERS BLOWN OUT BY XTRUETTES
The Washiawa Red Riders, go down to the APFL's league basement for the first time as they were crushed by the powerful Los Antreal Xtruettes. Washiawa was pummeled 27-12 at home. Our Riders will stay home for nex weeks match up against our rivals, New Onto, and Los Antreal's next game is against Chicouver in Los Antreal. Tommorow's game will be New Onto @ Chicouver.
PART 6: LEGALIZED PROSTITUTION
The world's oldest profession was made legal by the Amerada government in April, and we'll take a look at it. The law was introduced by the sex crazed man he was, former human development minister Liam Shaw. But that's not why it became a law. While the only woman in the government at that time, Genny Wong voted against it saying it was "degrating for women." What she did not know however that prostitution did not mean only women. What convinced the majority of the government is what Former President Jonathan Weatherhead said. "It will be good for our economy." Previously to that statement, most of the members of the government were against the bill, but when they really thought about it the majority decided to vote in favour of the bill. Now prostitiution is a thriving business, on the Liamapolis strip mall. One last thing, the Washiawa village municipal government is making sure everything is clean. It tries to get drugs of the streets, and promotes the use of condoms thouroughly. Tommorow: Can't Offend Amerada's culture.
July 27th
NEW SPORTS MINISTER FOR AMERADA
The head mortician for Amerada, Roch St. George, has been promoted to sports minister today. The job is not a voting job, but Roch will get a percentage of the heritage budget of Amerada to promote sport in Amerada. Until now sports have been official run by the president with some influence by Heritage minister Genevieve Wong. Genny has accepeted Roch as the new sports minister, a department of Amerada heritage. Roch has already talked about curling, hockey, and soccer in Amerada. He would also like to say that the Amerada cemetery has been moved, (the URL that is) to http://www.homestead.com/zonemania1/cemetery.html
SAN FRANTON TO HAVE APFL TEAM IN 2002
The San Franton village council decided to promote this young village, they would bring the APFL into town. It won't be untill the 2002 season, because the APFL is already under way. San Franton's team will be known as the Fortymoes, which is an ancient fortress. San Franton is the fifth team to join the APFL, along with Washiawa, New Onto, Los Antreal, and Chicouver.
AMERADA AN OFFICIAL IOC MEMBER
Great news sruck the nation Friday, as it has been read on the message board at the TorHavn olympic site that Amerada has been chosen to be an Intermicronational Olympic comittee member. This will likely help Amerada to get a bid for the 2008 micro olympic games. Also the Amerada flag has appeared in the list of nations at the TorHavn site along with Molossia, TorHavn, Corvinia, Babkha, and the CCI.
PART 5: WELFARE, ILLEGAL
Part 5 of our Amerada's laws series looks at no welfare. It was former Labour minister Tim Finnigan's intention right from the begining to make it law that no one in Amerada shall recieve welfare. And why not? Even to today there is no one in Amerada jobless, even from the youngest 10 year old to the oldest midle-aged man. So far there are no schools in Amerada becuase the entire government is at a school age, and it would look wierd to have schools. So everyone's at work, bringing in the dough, which is on average $ 26,950 according to Stats-Am. That's more then enough money, so who needs welfare? The law does exclude the handicaped and people of disability, but there is no one in Amerada like that yet. The law was created to prevent hobos, and street people, people who are looked at badly by Ameradians. Tommorow, legalized prostitution.

July 26th
PART 4: BAN ON CIGARETTES
Part 4 of our series looking at Amerada's laws is the ban of all cigarettes. Tobacco remains to today as Amerada's only illicit drug. The law was created because cigarettes were considered to be an awful thing. You can get arrested for possesion, usage, and selling. But there have been no problems so far because custom will check people out as they come in to Amerada for tobacco seeds, or cigarettes, or tobacco. It is not known if any smokers came to Amerada but if they were their cigarettes were confiscated and they were given a trial and maybe sent to jail. They may have recieved treatment for their nicotene addiction at a hospital. There have been no cases of someone smuggeling in the drug. Cigarettes have been known to kill millions around the world. Tommorow, no welfare in Amerada.
AMERADA PAVILLION UP AND RUNNING
Our pavillion at the micronational exposition in Molossia has been built by the vice president, Jonathan Weatherhead. There were a few bugs, but the pavillion was quickly shipped to Molossia. Unfortunately they did not have an elaborate pavillion grounds available, but they did give us a stand near the Bridge of Peace. It features many facts about Amerada aswell as a handful of links. Jon did a great job! The expo site can be found at http://www.molossia.org/expo/expomain.html and the Amerada pavillion can be found at http://vv.carleton.ca/~jweathe/ampav.html
AMERADA'S 5th VILLAGE MADE OFFICIAL!
The government has passed the motion to make all the areas west of Michswick and Tebec become the new Colony of New Columbia. This coming after Sam Franton and his surveying crew found a perfect place to create Amerada's firs west coast port village. The village which will be the capital of New Colombia will be named after Sam Franton, named San Franton. San meaning village and also a play on his first mane. New Colombia extends 1300 km north to south and 500 km east to west. The total area is about 475,000 sq. km. There are 21 large islands off the coast. San Franton is located on Franton Inlet which is protected by Vancouver Island. The land has been divided into 82 counties. The highest point is 2100m the lowest is -75m at the 3 corners depression. There are 4 national parks in the making. The main industry will be in shipping and fishing. An airport has already been built, and highway 2 in Chicouver, wich now is only a short street extending from on end of Chicouver to the other will be extended west to New Columbia where it will be highway 1. A highway 2 will be a short street in San Franton. The flag will be the coat of arms of New York, which symbolizes Franton inlet, and its future, and the future of the colony in general. One change to the arms is the world above the arms has been changed to feature a map of the colony. In the background is a rising sun on a navy blue field which is seperated by a thin white lines that form waves. Also featured is the Union Jack with a crown in the centre, which symbolizes its link to Canada and Britain and the Columbia name. New Columbia is the 5th colony to be formed in Amerada.
July 25th PART 3 CAPITAL PUNISHMENT, LEGAL
Part 3 of our look at laws of Amerada looks at the fact that you can be given the death penalty. If decided upon in Ameradian courts that a person has done a horrible thing that he or she deserves the death penalty it may be given. Many people are against the death penalty, but it was brought up because of the minimum security jail that Amerada has. There is not enough people to work at the jail that a felin can easily escape. If this person was a murdurer than he may do it again. The death penalty may stop that. The Republic has never given the death penalty yet, and is not sure when to use it. There has been speculation that Kiril Litvinov may get it as soon as September, because of his numerous escapes. He probably won't because he never murdered anyone. It's no doubt that this law will be looked at further and may be used as an addition to the murder law.
tommorow: ban on cigarettes.
July 24th PRESIDENT AND MARK HICKMAN TALK ABOUT CURRENT AMERADA ISSUES
Defence minister Mark Hickman was telephoned by President Earl Washburn today. This was the first of hopefuly many phone calls to cabinet ministers in Amerada. Things that were discussed was Mark's email, and possibility of a National Defense website. However Mark is currently having internet problems. They also discussed the olympics, and Mark hopes to participate in Chess, and the discus. The discus will be done with a frisbee, and Mr. Hickman has a brand of frisbee that has set the guiness book of world records for longest frisbee throw. The main reason the phone call was made was a discussion on a possible August meeting with all of the members of the Amerada government. Mark is available on the 18th and 19th, so the meeting may go then.
PART 2: THE RIGHT TO A FAIR TRIAL
Today we'll look at the right to a fair trial, which states that all of the people of Amerada if convicted of a felony have the right to be given a fair trial in which they may be given an attorney, and will be judged by a jury and a court judge. This trial will decide if the convicted felon will be guilty or inoccent. In the case of being guilty the trial will decide on the sentence. It was created by Derek McCullough and based on similar ammendmants. Previous to this law there was only one person who was convicted of a felony, so the government did not decide to give this person a trial because his conviction happened prior to the law. Since the law was put into place it has been fufilled. And if a trial can't be arranged the convicted felon can go free or will a wait further notice. This law also states that no one can go to jail until they have been to a trial. Another issue is trying to get a judge and an attorney. Any one in the government has the qualifications to do this, but don't usually tend their duties. There is currently one attorney, and one judge for every village in Amerada. The jury is normal people picked at random by the head court in the village. tommorow: Capital Punishment law.

July 23rd
FREEDOM OF SPEECH LAW PUT TO GOOD USE BY COPS
Part 1 of our look at Amerada's laws looks at the Freedom of speech law. It states that everyone in Amerada is allowed to say, write, think, or demonstrate as they wish with in the means of the law. This was law was put together based on the United States' 1st ammendmant. It's a basic right, which supports all sorts of religous beliefs, aswell as sexual orientation, etc. Though laws passed after this one seem to contradict this one. (we'll look at those another day) The police of Amerada are using this right to convict people who are doing doing bad things like vandalizing things. There are no laws against vandals yet, but the courts of Amerada are in favour of the police, because they see that the police have a high amount of freedom when it comes to circumstances such as vandals, or bullies. You can't really disobey this law becuase it's more of a right. It just means the government can't stop you from doing things, such as writing anything, thinking anything or demonstrating anything. Tommorow: The right to a fair trial.
CONTACT MADE WITH NEW AMBASSADOR
Luiz Otavio Farina has talked with the President vial email today for the first time. It's not sure if he's made residence yet at the Orange embassy or not but he is quite greatful to expand relations with Amerada. They were supposed to talk a week ago but Luiz was on vacation, but it's nice to hear from the new ambassador. The President will be ambassador in Orange, just as he is for Pasargada. The two ambassadors hope to be talking to each other via email a lot this week. Luiz Otavio Farina is the new ambassador to Orange in Amerada and will be living at the embassy to the Republic of Orange, 5 North Street, Washiawa M.C.D. 112O05.

WASHIAWA LOSES TO CHICOUVER IN LOW SCORING AFFAIR
The Washiawa Red Riders drop to 1-2 today as they suffered a bad defeat, 10-7. The Red Riders were only able to get a 6 point touchdown, as well as a single. The Bions also didn't play well, only adding a field goal more than Washiawa. Nonetheless it was enough to win, tying Chicouver with Los Antreal in the standings at 2-1. Next week Los Antreal comes to town, while New Onto will face Chicouver.
July 21st
AMERADA WANTS TO BE ImOC MEMBER
The Amerada government contacted the TorHavn olympic site, today and there was a new forum up discussing new ImOC members. There was already a micronation wanting to be a member, and Amerada needs it if we want to host the 2008 olympics. We also recieved confirmation last we week when a representitive from TorHavn wrote an article for micro-nations.org stating that Amerada was one of the micronations who had signed up. ImOC stands for Intermicronational Olympic Commitee and the olympics will be held in February.
STADIUM FINISHED LAST NIGHT
In the wee hours of the morning, the Amerada Athletic centre was completed. The athletic centre will be the main area for the upcoming Amerada Track and Field Championships, as well as all the colonial championships (leading up to the games) and the micro olympics stage for Amerada. The complex holds an amazing 25,000, which is ten times more people than all of Amerada! It only took a few months to build, and it looks great. You may be wondering, why is it so big? One of the reasons is for Amerada's bid for the 2008 micro olympics. This facility is sure to win over the ImOC's votes. As for now it will showcase its first event August 7th when each colony will hold its finals in the mens and womens 100m. The centre is located at the west end of 8th Avenue in south Washiawa.
LAST MINUTE TOUCHDOWN PUSHES NEW ONTO OVER XTRUETTES
The Los Antreal undefeated season in the APFL has come to an end at 2-0, they lost 32-25 to the previously winless, New Onto Gigonauts, in New Onto today. It was tied 25-25 late in the 4th quarter, but a great rush by Sammy O'Connor made an unbelievable run to score a touchdown for the 'nauts. Washiawa plays in Chicouver tommorow.
July 20th
VICE-PRESIDENT GOES TO BARBADOS
In a phone call today Vice-President Jonathan Weatherhead told President Earl Washburn that he was going to Barbados for the next three weeks. He will keep in touch with Amerada via email. This means a the next meeting between them will most likely happen on Earl's birthday, August 14th, along with other Ameradian government leaders. Word still must come from people such as Mark Hickman, Genevieve Wong, Derek McCullough, Rachel Harrison, and William Steeves about a possible summer meeting. Also in the phone call they discussed the pavillion, and most importantly the olympics. These and other things will also be discussed in a possible meeting in August. Earl may phone the government officials later this month.
July 19th
RELATIONS WITH ORANGE RAISE ANOTHER LEVEL
Although no word has come yet from the Ambassador to Orange, Orange Foreign Affairs minister Jennifer Rockwell has discussed with the President about a possible treaty with Amerada. "Very few micronations have come to us with an ambassador, but this is the very first treaty discussed" said President Earl. Also, Amerada has brought discussions with Orange about the upcoming olympics in TorHavn. It turns out Orange is very interested. Discussions with the new ambassador are expected to happen tommorow, or later in the week.
July 18th
PAVILLION STARTED, BUT PRESIDENT HAS EMAIL PROBLEMS
President Earl Washburn finally was able to get Jonathan Weatherhead by phone to discuss the new pavillion. Vice President Jon says it's on it's way. They also talked about the Amerada site, but Earl ran into some problems puting up an image, so it may be weeks before you'll see more images on the Amerada site. The president was unable to email the images to Jon because of system error. Earl will likely phone Jon Friday about the olympics, and when they'll meet again.
STATISTICS AMERADA RELEASES GDP FOR AMERADA
When working on a special statistics section for the Amerada pavillion, for the intermicronational exposition in Molossia, people at Stats-Am worked on a report dealing with the GDP of Amerada. They've concluded that the average annual salary of an Ameradian is $ 26,950 US. Since everyone in Amerada has a job because there are no people under the age of 10 in Amerada, and all are capable of work, the total GDP totals 56.6 million dollars (US)
This information may help Labour minister Rachel Harrison, who recently emailed the President about an upcoming Amerada meeting in August. She will hopefuly determine the workforce numbers for the country by then.
July 17th
EARL-JON PHONE CALL DELAYED UNTILL TOMORROW
It was 7:45 when President Earl Washburn called the house of Vice-president Jonathan Weatherhead, and when he did he got one of the house-workers. At that time Jon was still eating dinner, so the President decided to delay the phone call, be cause Earl was going to his home town of Ottawa, Canada to attend a soccer game which Canada won 4-0 (over Bulgaria) While the President was away, Jonathan called the Presidential mansion and left a message stating that "the pavillion for the 2001 micronational exposition is currently being built, and should be completed by Friday, or Sunday by the latest. The two will talk voice to voice via phone sometime tommorow.
July 16th
JONATHAN WEATHERHEAD SWORN IN AS AMERADA'S FIRST VICE PRESIDENT
The former President is moving up the ladder once again, and after delaying the meeting twice already, Jonathan Weatherhead finally goes to the home of the President to discuss Amerada and to be sworn in as Amerada's first Vice-president. Being sworn in is a method making its debut today, and from know on, any major government job one is seeking must be sworn in. Jon did appear 15 minutes late for the meeting, and it only lasted two hours. The two were only able to discuss a few things, and unfortunately the upcoming micronational olympics weren't one of them. The President will phone Jon on Tuesday, about finishing some unresolved topics of the meeting. It is unsure when the two will meet again Jon will be touring the Washiawa-New Onto area promoting his new job this week before leaving to Barbados next week.
OFFICIAL SYMBOLS OF AMERADA MADE OFFICIAL YESTERDAY
The final version of the flag was unvealed Sunday, which now features a thin grey line which seperates the red maple leaf from the red stripes in the flag, and also features a slight re-arrangement of the stars, as well as widening the stars slightly as well. Today the coat of arms of Amerada was
unvealed, it features the star-Amerada in purple with a blue border on the left half, and a red border on the right. Below the star there is a banner reading "Reublica ode Amerada" that's no typo, it is New Ameradian for Republic of Amerada. The flag was put on the main page today, and the coat of arms will be on the main page as early as tommorow night.
July 15th
NEW LANGUAGE IN THE MAKING
An extremely complex language is being developed for the use of major legal documents, that will only be used by Ameradians. It is so complex that it will take years to develop, and may be impossible to learn. The language will take elements from English, French, and Spanish. The language may be used as an extracurricular course in Ameradian schools, once a school system is developed. Here is a sample of the new language: A sroion dl'oh cede yoed soerar bar taa eemiana l'miz de s'duberes? Which roughly translated means: Oh say can you see, by the dawns early light, which is the first verse of the Star spangled banner, and the first verse of Amerada's unofficial national anthem, the Star-Amerada (Tla soilla Amerada)

Jonathan never shwed up, and said he was forced to go shopping with some people. He says he's sorry, and will reschedual the meeting for Monday. This isn't the first time Jon has done this, the meeting was supposed to go last Sunday! The question here is does the President still want to promote Jon to vice-president?

July 13th
AMERADA NEEDS WEST COAST PORT
Village officials form Los Antreal, and Chicouver complained yesterday that they need a coast village they can send products quickly to, that can be transported by ship to eastern Amerada. "The gold and diamond mines our two villages are producing are to much, and we can't afford to send them to New Onto and Washiawa by truck or plane anymore" said area spokesperson Kevin Obal. The Amerada government responded by proposing a village on the west coast, as soon as the area is surveyed. Amerada will be sending a crew of 8 men and women led by Sam Franton survey Amerada's west coast. As soon as they find a suitable port they'll announce to the government that they'll start building a village.
AMERADA TO BOYCOTT 2008 BEIJING OLYMPICS
Today Amerada President Earl Washburn announced that the Republic of Amerada will boycott the 2008 olympics after hearing the announcement by the IOC to chose Beijing overwhelmingly over the better bid, Toronto. "Not only was Toronto the better bid, but it was the samrter choice," said Washburn. "China's inhumane acts against humanity are bad, and so is the way they're acting against Tibet, the pollution in Beijing horrifies me, and China which is has the third worst debt in the world cannot afford to spruce up Beijing in only seven years" Earl stated. Beijing won the olympics over Toronto, Paris, Istanbul, and Oasaka.

The city of Washiawa development commity announced today, that they will extend Terminal Drive all the way to the Washiawa airport. Currently the street is a small one that takes traffic from the spaceport at Liamapolis to Onto Street, and Wall street where it ends. The plan was initiated because city officials were worried about future traffic problems in the village. When people first come to Amerada they arrive at Liamapolis and then rent a car to go to the airport accross town. The route these people must make is getting more and more traffic with the increased immigration to Amerada, so this street, wich will go directly to the airport will help with future traffic problems. The new road is likely to be completed mid-August.
